C-GEM™ | RF ACTIVE DECOY
C-GEM is a ship-mounted RF decoy, designed to combat advanced threats, including modern Anti-Ship Missiles (ASMs). Deployed from a 130mm NATO launcher, it responds effectively within seconds of detecting a threat.
Its solid-state AESA transmitters provide jamming towards the threat from all directions. Leveraging advanced DRFM and powerful transmission, C-GEM uses Electronic Attack techniques to tackle sophisticated threats. Serving as both a distraction and deception tool, it's crucial for a ship's Anti-Ship Missile Defence, diverting tracking radars and missile seekers, regardless of ship movements.

What operational capability does C-GEM bring ?
C-GEM active offboard decoy allows protection of vessels from attacks by enemy missiles. Launched in reaction to a detection of an incoming missile, C-GEM is positioned along the ship, and lures it's seeker head away from the ship.
Why is C-GEM more effective than Chaff and other passive decoys ?
C-GEM features a high end and programmable miniature jammer, allowing seduction of the most advanced missiles seekers, even those specifically designed to overlook passive decoys such as chaff and corner reflectors.
How many C-GEMs do you need to defend against a missile attack ?
One C-GEM is sufficient to thwart an attack by one or multiple anti-ship missiles.
Why do you need C-GEM if you already have missiles to intercept incoming anti-ship missiles ?
Ensuring survivability of vessels in combat is a statistical game. As the enemy will try to overwhelm ship defences by using swarm attack tactics, multiple independent protection layers is the only guarantee to survivability.
